Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your TemKeep account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens.

Quick request: email privacy@temkeep.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account and data". We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

1. How to request deletion

To delete your account and personal data, email privacy@temkeep.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account and data".

Sending from your account address helps us confirm the request is genuinely yours; we may ask one or two further questions to verify your identity before we proceed. Once verified, we delete your data as described below and email you to confirm when it's done.

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires or allows it, for example:

Anything we keep is kept to the minimum necessary and is deleted once the reason no longer applies.

4. How long it takes

We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request, and confirm by email when it's done. Backup copies are removed within 90 days.

5. Export your records first

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you need your food-safety records (for example to keep for an inspector), export them as a PDF from the app before requesting deletion.

6. Deleting from the app store

Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account or server-side data. Use the email method above to delete your data.
